1987年获人大法律系法学硕士学位。1988年至1990年7月在最高人民法院高级法官培训中心工作，1990年8月至1995年12月在日本国立名古屋大学法学研究课学习，获法学博士学位。1996年2月回国到人大法学院任教，截止2013年为中国人民大学法学院教授，博士生导师兼任中国法学会比较法研究会副会长、中国法学会法理学研究会理事。
In 1987, she received a master's degree in law from renmin university of China.From 1988 to July 1990, he worked at the training center for senior judges of the supreme people's court. From August 1990 to December 1995, she studied law studies at the national university of Nagoya, Japan, and received the degree of doctor of laws. In February 1996, she came back to China to teach in the law school of renmin university of China. By 2013, she was a professor in the law school of renmin university of China. Her doctoral supervisor was also the vice chairman of the comparative law research institute of China law society and a member of the jurisprudence research institute of China law society.
